Some uploads on the source site merge two parallel sets, which is why a few papers show double marks. MCQ = one right option, MSQ = one or more right options (strict marking), SA = type the number.

| Exam | Papers | Exam dates | Question slots | Different questions | Copies of each (average) | Different questions seen on 2+ exam dates |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Quiz 1 | 26 | 6 | 566 | 122 | 4.6 | 7 (6%) |
| Quiz 2 | 21 | 5 | 459 | 110 | 4.2 | 0 (0%) |
| End Term | 49 | 13 | 1760 | 616 | 2.9 | 14 (2%) |
Read this carefully. Within one exam date the parallel sets are drawn from the same pool, so each different question appears on several papers (the 'copies' column). Across different dates, questions with identical wording or identical figure files are rare. Matching here is exact, so a re-typed or re-cropped version counts as different; the real overlap in question type is much higher than this table can see. The takeaway: old papers teach you the types and stories that come back with new numbers, they are not a list of answers to memorise.

MLP is the course where you are tested on scikit-learn and pandas details, mostly by reading code. The papers are longer than MLF and MLT (an End Term has a median of 37 questions and 100 marks, Quizzes about 22 questions and 50 marks), and the questions are short. Real stems from the papers:
X.shape) and the label vector (y.shape)?"'invscaling' / 'optimal'?"SGDClassifier, and which classifier does it give?"partial_fit?"RandomizedSearchCV over GridSearchCV?"MLPClassifier... which element introduces non-linearity?"l1 LinearSVC gives sparse coef_, RandomizedSearchCV, Ridge alpha.HashingVectorizer vs CountVectorizer, pandas group-by filters, and neural network non-linearity.MLP rewards memory and small experiments. Keep a one-page defaults sheet (the "Formulas" button at the top has one per week) and run the code in the lessons on your computer: the output you type yourself sticks. Learn these like vocabulary: train_test_split default test size 0.25; SGDRegressor invscaling/eta0=0.01; SGDClassifier hinge/optimal; LogisticRegression C=1; SVC rbf/gamma="scale"; RandomForest 100 trees/sqrt; BaggingClassifier 10 estimators; MLPClassifier (100,)/relu/adam; KMeans 8 clusters.
| Priority | Weeks | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Must be perfect | 1, 2, 3, 6 | preprocessing, pipelines, CV/grid counts, SGD parameters, metrics |
| High | 4, 5, 7, 9, 10 | regularisation direction (alpha vs C), logistic outputs, OvR/OvO, ensembles |
| Steady | 8, 11, 12 | SVM dials, MLP shapes, unsupervised |
The three counting skills that pay off every time: (1) number of fits combinations folds ( refit); (2) number of classifiers: OvR , OvO ; (3) number of parameters in a network: .
